Instant booking versus Request to book

Two booking modes

Instant booking can proceed to checkout immediately while the time remains eligible. Request to book sends an authenticated request. Pending requests do not reserve a time. If the hitting partner accepts, the slot is temporarily reserved until the exact Checkout-start deadline; after Checkout starts, Stripe's displayed expiry becomes the active hold. Both modes support eligible bookings with Junior-only approved partners. Participant age on the session date and the partner's approval must match the selected session, including when request terms change.
