About us
Serving T was started in New Zealand by Rohan, Boris & Matt to solve a problem we had: we wanted to play up a level, but finding the right people to hit with usually came down to who we knew and whose number we could get.
These hitting sessions already happen throughout tennis. Juniors, competitive players and club players regularly arrange hits with stronger players to get more quality court time, prepare for matches or simply practise against someone at a higher level. The problem is that finding those players can be surprisingly difficult. It often comes down to asking club members, players at tournaments, coaches or friends for someone's details, then getting in touch individually to find out whether they're available, where they can play and what they charge. Unless you're already well connected within tennis, the whole process can be cumbersome.
That became the idea behind Serving T.
A place where players can discover and book quality, high-level players and get more of the kind of court time that helps move our game forward.
