If the booker cancels
A confirmed paid booking is backed by a deposit. Under Partner Protection, if the booker cancels, the hitting partner remains entitled to the protected partner share of that deposit. servingT uses the booking's immutable price snapshot for that share, deducts the actual Stripe card-processing fee attributable to the deposit, and queues the resulting compensation into the normal weekly payout. servingT retains the portions of its booking and partner platform fees represented in that deposit calculation.
Weekly payout deductions
The protected compensation is not paid separately. It is included in the hitting partner's normal weekly payout, where the usual Stripe Connect account and payout cost recovery, and Stripe supplier GST on that recovery, continue to apply.
If the booker does not attend
A booker no-show is different from a cancellation. If a valid no-show is recorded from 15 minutes after the scheduled start, the authorised remaining session balance may still be payable under the no-show settlement process.
If the hitting partner cancels
The booker receives a full deposit refund, subject to payment-provider processing time. This is separate from Partner Protection compensation for a booker cancellation.
Use the in-app controls
A private message, non-attendance, or unaccepted change is not a cancellation. Use the booking's cancellation, no-show, reschedule, or support process so there is a clear record. The Cancellation and No-show Policy accepted for the booking controls if there is any conflict.
