On Sunday 27 September from 2:00–4:00pm at Blockhouse Bay Tennis Club, New Zealand Davis Cup player and the country's highest ATP-ranked player, Anton Shepp, will take on challengers in a series of fast-paced mini games.

Alongside the challenge court, 3 indoor courts will be dedicated to Diadem racquet demos — each with a professional Serving T hitting partner on the other side of the net.

Try the racquet properly

Choosing a racquet from specifications alone only tells you so much.

On the Diadem demo courts, you'll be able to talk through your game with a Diadem equipment specialist, pick a frame and then actually hit with it against one of our Serving T partners.

Ask for the pace, spin and ball height you normally play against. Compare different racquets back-to-back while the feel is still fresh. Bring your current racquet along if you want a direct comparison.

Diadem will have its range available across all five series: Project Bublik, Axis, Nova, Dream and Elevate, spanning different combinations of power, spin, comfort and control.

It's also a chance to experience what Serving T is about.

Serving T connects players with carefully selected hitting partners for focused practice, match preparation or simply a reliable, high-quality hit when they want one.

Good practice depends on the person at the other end of the court. A high-level hitting partner can give you the pace, consistency, movement and quality of ball that lets you work on your game in a genuinely competitive environment — and adapt the session to what you need.

At the Diadem event, you can experience that first-hand.

More than just the demo courts

There's plenty happening across the rest of the afternoon too.

Challenge Anton in one of the mini games and beat the pro to win a bigger Diadem voucher. Everyone who signs up and turns up receives a $10 Diadem voucher, redeemable at the Blockhouse Bay Tennis Club pro shop on the day.

Diadem Sports NZ will also be running an equipment sale with 35% off racquets, plus deals across the rest of the Diadem range. If a frame wins you over on the demo court, you can take it home that afternoon.

And there's no need to disappear when the tennis finishes.

Anton will be sticking around afterwards for photos and to sign Diadem T-shirts, while the bar will be open for a drink, a chat and a social with the players and people involved in the day.

Diadem will also share retail profits from the event to help support Anton's professional tennis career.

Come and have a hit

Come down, try the Diadem range, get on court with the Serving T team and see what a high-quality hitting partner can add to your tennis.
